3" SAS with 10" shocks?

3" SAS with 10" shocks?
I have a TG 3" SAS kit and with it 12" shocks. I am running a V6 4runner and 33's, needless to say its way tall. I want to lower it but the shocks are 3/4 on from bottoming when on the bump stops. I still have a good 2-3" till my hi-steer hits the frame.
So what I'm planing on doing is getting 10" that will give ma about an extra inch of up travel. the truck is immobile right now so I can test it to see what kind of down travel I will lose.
Dose any one have any experience with the 10" shocks on the 3" sas kit?
