Hi,

Did the interior trim of Limited 3rd gen 4Runners (1996-2002) always come with wood trim? or is this just an option?

I have the wood trim since I have a 2000 Limited.
My buddy's SR5 has the flat black coloring.

 

if anyone is interested, I'm thinking of trading my woodgrain for black trim. i have a 2000 limited auto. (in good condition) Let me know if you're interested.

 

guys I am on "search" now for changing over my 99 5 speed to a limited woodgrain interior...

I have a line on a set of pieces but of course they are made for a Limited meaning automatic.

I realize the lower gear shift pieces will likely not work for me-but will the other pieces be interchangeable? any opinions on the center cluster trim or the wood accents for the steering wheel/gauges area or the door window switch plates?

If I can't use these nice pieces is there someone else interested? Roughly $225 for all the pieces...

Ron, I think other than where the shifter sits, you should be good to go on the other trims. Personally, I'm not a big wood trim fan and would rather get the silver trim that comes on the Sport Editions (01-02).
