CV boot leaking at clamp

I installed a NAPA reman cv joint to replace my fubar'd one last month, and the skinny end of the inner boot is spitting out large amounts of grease. No tears in the boot obviously, it's coming from under the clamp. Do all new cv's do this (do they overpack grease at the factory) or does it sound like the clamp's loose? By big gobs, I mean the size of a reeses peanut butter cup. Any advice would be appreciated

just put a new clamp on it; their like a buck

or zip-tie

I wouldn't remove the whole dang thing just to use my warrantee cause of a little leak like that though. Now if the boot was ripped, then I'd surely have it exchanged...

lol, yeah, it's not suppose to leak. if it can leak the lube out, it's also possible of letting water and other debries in!
