3.0 V6 Coolant in oil?

I got a curious question because a friend of mine has coolant in his oil and thinks he has a blow head gasket but i wanna know if theres anyother way coolant gets into oil on the 3VZE besides the head gaskets?

Head gasket is the most likely.

But, cracked or warped head(s) or cracked block are possibilities.

Well see he recently bought it and it was overheating sometimes randomly and he said a few days later he found coolant in the oil at least that what he told me. Anyone know any other possiblitys or other fixes? Don't think hes lookin forward to new head gaskets gettin changed and or new heads and block....

If it overheated, or IS overheating, then hes looking at more than just the gasket most likely. Overheating can cause the head to warp and or crack and/or the block to crack. There really aren't any other ways for the coolant to get into the oil. If it were the 22re, I'd suggest the T-chain cover. but its the V6.

Yea i thought the same... i wonder what would cause its overheating he says it does not leak any coolant or fluids at all.

Scooby got funny.....hehe

Overheating....thermo stuck, water pump gone, radiator blocked up, water jacket blocked up, bad hair day......

There's only a few reasons a motor would overheat. Leaking isn't necessarily one of them. In fact, you could have a coolant leak and never overheat at all. Your friend should've been a little more proactive about the "random" overheating. Now he's up doodoo creek.
