got new distributor & accessories on the other day... spark plugs, wires, the works. I haven't started it since the crash, cuz the old distributor was cracked. I got everything hooked up, ingniter assy, dist., i don't know if im missing anything.

I DON'T GET INGNITION SPARKS.

just thought id share that tidbit as well....

help would be appreciated, as my baby has been garaged for over a month now.

 

Check all the wiring. Especially if the truck was wrecked, the wiring can easily be damaged and something simple as one broken wire can shut the whole operation down. Working in a wrecking yard, i have one more than one occasion been caught by one single cut wire buried within a harness that wouldn't allow the engine to get spark.

 

and depending on the accident... fuses, fusible links, etc. could've blown as well.
