toyota pickup ball joints and wheel bearings
I am going to replace my ball joints and wheel bearings in my 89 toyota 4x4. Where do you guys buy them from? What brands are the best?
Thanks for any help.

If you get aftermarket parts, make sure they are good quality and preferably made in Japan.
Tripe5 parts are good quaility, as are Senkei (spelling?) Toyota uses Senkei parts in many of its vehicles.

Everything in there should be pretty straight forward. I was a total mechanical noob when I tore into my hubs... 10k miles later, still good! I recommend a 54mm socket for the nuts, and at least a cheap torque wrench. Please don't use screwdrivers and a hammer to set wheel bearing preload!

Do you not have a local auto parts supplier??
If they where selling poor quality parts nobody would buy them and they would be tired of all the returns.
As far as the wheel bearings you can take the numbers and go to your local bearings R` Us and get them.
Lots of good bearings out there. If you install them wrong even the best will fail.
