Thinkin about man. hub swap

I searched on this last night and got really interested in doing it maybe this summer. I drive alot of highway miles and have always hated the wear and tear on auto matic hub 4x4s in general. I am pretty good friends with a guy at a junkyard here in town. I was thinkin from what I read the best way to go is see if I can get the whole diff Disc to disc.
Wouldnt that give me everything i needed?
I know what trucks to look for. I know this has been discussed cause i looked but I thought maybe someone may have some new ideas or tips on what to look for or not to do.
thanky

Unless you dont keep abs, then its a straight forward swap.

All you need is spindles, hubs, and cv's
