Great news... dealer cost on Rostra seat heaters for all !!!

All,

After some discussions with the VP of Rostra Precision Controls, Thomas Weiss, I have negotiated that any member of the Yotatech community can have dealer cost if they purchase Rostra seat heaters.

The retail is $129 per side and we can purchase via the web site at $75 per side

Now that is a good deal !

I will post the links once Thomas has set this up for us and I will be buying the first set and installing on my 03 Sport when the leather is added.

Please respond if you are potentially interested, I promised Thomas I would give him some ball park numbers.

Have a great day,

David

P.S. Corey...lets chat about getting this set up formally and perhaps a sticky for the initial links...

I live in Alabama...

What about a seat chiller? Now I could use one of those because down here you don't freeze it off , you melt it off !!!

Wow that is a good price. Is that for a butt warmer or a butt and back warmer?

I may have to pick up a set for the Celica.

SLC,

That is butt and back and the control unit can be configured to either

1. Switch on back element or butt element individually

or

2. Switch on both at 135 (low) or 145 (high)

I will hopefully have some links soon and I cna forward installation instructions now if required.

Do you know how long he will be selling them at this price for? I just spent $3,000 for tuition, books and parking pass

What's involved with installing these and will it work without leather seats? At that price and with a cold natured wife, I'll definately be interested.

All,

Will work with or without leather.

Got some real work to take care of...will update and hopefully clear up all your questions next week.

Here's to some warm butts this winter...

David

BTW, you will all owe me if Wife 1.0 allows you to install Mistress 1.0 as a result of being content with a warm butt !!!

Oooh..
so this is something you could theoretically put between the seats and a Wet Okole cover, right?

It gets awfully frosty here sometimes, and last winter is the prime example - it was a beast. I am definitely in!

10-4 on the wife If they will work with cloth seats - sounds good. Keep us posted.

Are these available for other Toyotas? (i.e. Matrix?)

Count me in as well. It is a bit cool here in WV for lack of seat heaters.

Thanks
