power steering belt tensioner

I'm in the process of changing drive belts on a 3.4. On the power steering belt, I have loosened the lock nut for the tensioner. However the tensioner bolt is giving me problems. I have located it and tried to get a wrench on it, but a pipe is in the way. Do I need to remove this, or am I just approaching the bolt from the wrong angle? I can post a picture if needed.

You shouldn't have to remove anything to get to it. However, it is the worse one of the three to do. A ratcheting wrench might help you some, but it will still take a bit of time to do, because you can only turn it a little bit at a time.

Get a 14 mil ratcheting wrench. You need it. Besides that, i took off a wire to the power steering pmp to make it a bit easier, but nothing else.

hmmm

I checked under the hood of my brother's Taco with the same motor and the bolt is easy enough to access. Mine is different though. Let me take a pic.
