Enhanced cali smog? What have they done to make it "enhanced" now?

And have any pics of your computer installed in your 4runner? I'm interested in knowing more 'bout it......

Denatured alcohol works wonders.

Had an 89 5.0 Mustang, no smog equipment, no cats, long tubes, true duals, big cam etc...Took it through for s n giggles the way it was, failed bad. Put about 2 ounces of denatured alcohol in my gas tank with about 1/4 tank of gas, took it back through and passed with flying colors!

If anyone tries this, make sure you drive around and get as much of that gas out of the system as you can, then go fill up and drive around some more. The alcohol will eat through seals/fuel lines if you leave it sitting in the fuel system for a while.

Ahhhh, ok, thanks Abe. Maybe when I'm done up here, and finally move back, I'll just keep my truck registered up here, if that can be done anymore....

Be thankful you aren't in Colorado. I happen to work for the emissions testing place here. You would have failed as we do a visual inspections for emissions components. The fun thing about our testing though is we get to put the vehicles on a dyne...sadly no horsepower or other info is available...(I intend on finding a way to hook up my laptop to our equipment though)
