I was wondering how to remove the hose in the picture below, i tried to remove it and i broke the little circular plastic piece that holds it in there. Also where can i get a replacement piece?

 

Thats a pvc grommet, and available at the parts store in the 'help section', next to the pvc's... dirt cheap, easy fix... and yeah... just yank on the suckerif you can get the pvc out, you may be able to push the rubber so it caves in on itself, then comes out easily.

 

It's really not plastic. After a time, the rubber gets hard and it seems like it's made out of plastic. You'll find that a new one will be soft and provide a much better seal for your PVC. You may have to pull the valve cover off in order to remove the old one, as it will come out in pieces.

 

just remove the line and put a breather there...

 

NO!!!! DO NOT DO THAT
... unless you want oil all over your engine and a serious vacuum leak.

 

and it's PCV, not PVC.
positive crankcase ventilation- it lets the engine suck in any blowby from around your pistons / rings and burn the vapors.
