Dana 44

i can get a dana 44 10 bolt front axle from a chevy with springs for 50 bucks...is this a good deal and could i use it to SAS my 89 4runner? thanks!

I agree. yes, and yes- it's a good deal and you could use it for an SAS.

but a toyota axle with longfields is a better choice (from what I hear). it may cost more up-front, but will save you more in busted parts in the long run.
