4Runner Grille & Headlights Onto A '90 Pickup?

Has anyone put a grille and the glass headlight assy's from a '95 4Runner into a pickup? I was thinking of doing this to my 1990 4WD SR5 truck as it looks kinda cool. Just don't know if the radiator core supports are all stamped the same as far as mounting holes, etc, etc.

Thanx,
Bud

Yes, it has been done. But be warned. NOTHING bolts up. You will need:

Bumper
Grill
lights
Turn signals
Core support
Valance

Lots of work...

Well, you get the removable bulb style lights, which is nice. But for 100 bucks you could just get hella e-codes for your current light style (new lenses that use replaceable H4 bulbs)...

I figured as such. Too much work for minimal results. I'm just not that ambitious.
Thanx guys!

Yes it can be done. That's my 89 in the above pic. You have to change the core supports because the headlight pockets won't fit the 4Runners headlights. Get a spotweld drill bit and start drilling. There are about 35 of them on each core support. I just cut the doner one at the inner fender wells with a sawsall and drilled them out on the workbench.

I just plug welded it back together and covered the seams with seam sealer. Most of the other stuff bolts right up but I got all the stuff from the doner truck. The only other thing I had issues with is the power steering cooler and A/C lines were different because my truck was a 4cyl and the doner was a V6.

Here it is now with a different front bumber.
