I drove beside someone who had Thornbirds. It was annoyingly loud in my car. Thornbirds are for looks IMO.

They are HORABLE tires they are only half good in mud because of the side lugs worse then anything in the rain they slip and slide around they are only ok in the sand just as loud as TSLs not worth the money or aggravation they are all for looks and wear as fast as boggers do!! as you can tell im not a fan. LOVE TSL'S tho radials anyway!!

thorn turds are horrible unless you can spin them, really fast.

I have seen a set cut out that worked alrigth but unless you get them free i would steer clear.

I have seen A/T's do better in the mud than those stock!!!

I think they look like a child toy car tires, made by children.

Apparently they have the mud performance of all terrains, the street performance of a mud terrain, and the winter traction of ice skates.

so i think this is a pretty much open shut question! this thread should be closed now!! unless we want to keep dogging interco which is never a bad idea i guess, just remember they did give us the bogger and TSLs so they tricked us into buying the thorn birds to at least we can dig big holes without trying and get ourselves stuck in situations we should have never gotten into make it further then anyone elts so no one can get to us to pull us out. we thank you for this INTERCO!! without you we wouldnt be stuck half the time! haha im talkin crap.....

love the way they look. but yeah they're horrible.. useless in just about every terrain, wear down REALLY fast, and are pretty loud (but i like that ) and they're expensive. so deff pass.

Most tires have mixed views, but this tire is unilaterally disliked. Its funny that people still buy them. Then again, people still buy Fords with their disposable transmissions.

Couldn't resist the temptation to comment on this thread....
Yep, they suck Donkey n**s.
Those were the tires that came with my truck when I first bought them. I learned very fast how bad of a make they were. Talk about being thrown all over the road while driving!
Stay away!
Okay....thread can officially be closed now, we all agree they suck.

The only reason that Interco (they make great tires like Super Swamper's and Iroks) still carries them is that they were designed by the President of Interco's Wife. It is in their Prenuptial agreement that she got to design a 'Pretty Tire' and they would market the tire as long as their marriage lasted.
