99+ Cupholder Mod In the Works

I'm done for the night but like the title says I found the parts from a 00 4runner. I managed to get the whole console to the shifter, e brake assembly, switch cutouts and an air vent (fixing previous mistakes) for 50 bucks from the local salvage yard. reading the whole thing through now i realized i could have grabbed the lower silver bracket for the underside of the console from the 00, but i used the existing one instead...which is one of the main reasons i made this thread. thanks to Bob98SR5 for the site

http://4runners.org/writeups/cupholder/index.html

if you plan on following the steps from 4runners.org and retaining the existing bracket, do NOT plot your holes 1.5" to the back like it says. For the best eye-out, use the accompanied picture with that step for the proper hole locations...it ends up being approx. .6". Anywho, 4 hours later i realized my mistakes and have them fixed. Still have to rewire the ect and rear window switches to the console, got to dark to do it so it'll be tomorrow. anyways, i just wanted to share, if you have any questions down the road don't hesitate to ask and i'll update the finished product tomorrow.

Saw some front leather seats awhile back on ebay from an 01 Limited.

I believe they ended up going for $475! plus shipping but they were leather and heated.

By us I just mean the forum members-just let it be known or post up a "WTB" want to buy and I bet someone will have some for ya.

Hunsakers? I don't know what that is....I am a bit slow....
