i keep breaking things off of my frame! welding time... (pics)

Well it seems now that because ive replaced most of the mechanical parts on my truck with something stronger i have reached the stage where im no longer breaking the drivetrain or suspension or motor, but i have started tearing all of the welded components off of the frame

well i finaly welded on my rear frame reinforcements so nothing broke there, sorry this pic looks like crap because they are all dirty and its dark

Then the next thing to go was the factory coil buckets which took one big landing too many and promptly tore off the frame leaving the coilovers to fly up into the fenderwells...

the only pic i have is whats left of one of them that was lying in my cab

so

We went ahead and machined some really beefy plate steel spring buckets. then shortened the brackets 1" to provide an additional inch of lift while relaxing the stiff progressive coilovers. also these new spring buckets are shaved around the edges so that my uniball can completely bypass them on compression travel. The last thing i did with them was move them back about 1/4" to add some additional caster.

sorry these pics are also horrible, and there will be more gusseting going on these new buckets but i havent goten that far yet.

well the most recent thing to go was my passenger side motor mount which broke in half in the metal section instead of the f*ing rubber this managed to tear off the exhaust and intake as well as put a massive dent in the oil pan

I repaired that today but im not taking any pictures of it because it looks like crap. the other motor mount is about to take a dump also so im going to be making solid 1/2" plate mounts for it very soon and ill take pictures of those.

stupid toyota stop making all of your mounts out of crapy 1/8" with poor quality string welds...
