Tire Carrier Question.

Tire Carrier Question.
I am going to add a tire carrier to my rear bumper. I am used to making a carrier with a spindle and bearings. This time I am going to do a double sheer setup and have pivot to be a tube with poly bushings. My question is with poly bushings how does it hold up? Is there alot of sag? Since the swing arm is not going to be very long (only halfway across bumper) there isnt going to be a large amount of leverage. But I hav never used a setup like this and am curious if it is worthwhile to make it like that.

This is the arm on the face of the bumper. The red is the poly bushings.
Thanks

interesting approach but seems like most fabricators are using a bearing surface like a trailer stub axle that will maintain the weight. Seems to me that a bushing will sag as it is designed to have some give to it.
I just got one of these to have a guy convert my rear bumper into a rear swing out: RockStomper Hinge Kit
but give it a try, it might prove to be a new approach..
