VSV problem after gen 2 supercharger install

Installed a gen 2 supercharger in my 03 Tundra V-6 a couple weekends back. Though the TRD instructions don't cover the new Tundra, everything went fine. The install involved remounting the Vacuum Switching Valve (EVAP) to a custom bracket on the firewall.

Problem: the VSV is now switching about 3 times a second - making the ticking noise that's been mentioned in other threads discussing valves and tires. (Yes, I'm absolutely sure it's the VSV - used a stethoscope.)

Pulled the VSV out and checked it per the manual (no short, correct resistance, opens under 12v). No problem. Checked all the vacuum lines for leaks and correct routing (all the way back to the charcoal canister, now located by the gas tank). Again no problem. Contacted TRD and got no new ideas.

Truck runs fine, ticking isn't annoying thanks to the subwoofer, but I can't stand knowing it's not right. If anyone's got a suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated.

hmm mine did it for a while, but it went away...Took me a while to figure out where the ticking was coming from but found it eventually. I can't think of anything I did that may have fixed it other than I put in a one way check valve for the s/c. sry
