Body lift

I recently bought a 3" roger brown body lift. What are the pro's vs. cons to this lift?

check 4crawler.com. all the info you will need and more

not to be an ass but you should be asking these questions before you purchase items like this. some downsides have turned people away from the 3" in the past, but go read his site and decide for yourself, good luck

Umm well I will try this one. Roger Brown is I believe a well respected name in the Yota community.

When you get to that tall of a body lift I believe you introduce a number of "reach" issues, like the distance between the tranny and the interior "boot" fit and the brake lines getting stretched too far and now needing longer cables to reach the tires under full droop and so on.Probably some differences between the auto tranny guys and the 5 speed manual crowd.

I believe his ask a Toyota tech column is found in Toyota Trails- a publication of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association. A fine read each issue I might add.

Eternally curious I am -Would you want to say what would such a kit cost?
