I have them on my 84 land cruiser. Its still broken down and I get them off another truck. We will see!
My step dad runs them on his sequoia and they seem pretty good. Id stick with toyo or bridgestone personally but geolanders carry a better warranty than most tires or so i was told.

I like them so far... i got 'em from discount tire who price matched them to tirerack.com w/shipping. lifetime rotation/balance. they're wearing excellently so far- the tech at discount said he'd start recommending them with what he saw on the runner. not too many people venture outside of the "known" tires, and these just aren't "known" yet. IMO, of course

I would say that these are the best tires I have had, very low noise output, very, very good in rain....worth the money!!

they did awesome for the 5k miles I ran them, then decided to go to Mud tires... silly idea, the Yoko's did great for all the on-road I did, and performed just fine in dry off-road, decent in slippery, but of course nowhere as good as Cooper STT's in mud

Mom has a set on her '99 and she really likes them in the wet and the dry and they should handle the occasional off road excursion but they are primarily an on road tire with ok off road intentions.

ooh, forgot to mention I had the HT-S (completely road tire, not All-terrain designated) the above on that rig are their all-terrain version, I believe they have 2 all-terrain versions A-T and A-T+?

ya, it's dry as a bone on rock. slicks would do well too.

the geolander is a c mud tire, c snow tire, b dirt tire, a rain tire. it is a road tire, grocery and delivery

Schaefer was running the older AT+IIs which are quite different from the AT-S version.
I ran the AT+IIs on my '97 and I really liked them but the softer compound led to real quick tire wear but they were still a good on and off road tire.

may i recommend Firestone Desitination AT's.. they are rrated to 50k miles and are great tires. i have 6-8k miles on my current ones and the lil prickly knobs are just now wearing down. i drive a lot and they are GREAT in the rain and snow. good offroad tire too... i like them ALOT better than BF at's hands down. plus they are cheaper too!

I was wondering why I couldn't find the ones I had on my '89 4Run before it was totalled. Are they discontinued?

For what its worth, I liked them alot. Did well in the snow... but that opinion is for the AT+IIs appearantly.

I ran them on my old ranger when I had it, and they actually wore quite well all things considering.

I put tons of miles on them, and they were awesome in the winter.

Geolanders a/t+2 are good in rocks Steve can verify that, don't think about going mud they are an A/T. In comparison to Terra grapplers that I had 85k on them. or G/Y long trails 80k. Yoko's will not last, If this is your DD. mine have 30k on them now. and are going fast might get 50k on them.

The tires Belize posted in the photo are the M/T's. I have the M/T's and have enjoyed them in the mud and sand. From just a tire company standpoint, Yoko's are quality tires but can be on the higher side cost wise compared to other similar tires.

I'd be interested in a set of the A/T's for when the winter comes. My M/T's are a handful in the snow, road wise. I'm sure part of it has to do with tire width as well, but my truck liked to wander instead of staying true.
