3.0 and the 3.4

my question here is will a 3.slow tranny and t-case mount up to the rear of a 97 3.4?? I am leaning toward no but I really have no clue.

Yes it will, but....the speed sensor signal is different. There is a big thread about it in the 3.4 swap section:

Never mind.... I see now you have a 5 speed, so yes it will work fine, there is no speed sensor problem with the 5 speed, just the auto tranny.
