Clutch Pedal looses pressure randomly?

My clutch pedal is generally has good pressure, but every now and again it just totally goes to the floor and i have to pump it once or twice to get it back.

in the past 2000 miles i have replaced the clutch with a stock clutch kit, new clutch slave cylinder, hose, master cylinder.

the system has been manually bleed, gravity bleed, and air-bleeder. its such a small system that there is no way air is trapped in there.

any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

If it is not leaking then the problem is that the master cylinder is bypassing internally. And that is typically the way they go, loose pressure the first couple of trys then pump up until you leave it for a while.

master cylinder issue.be careful with it before long it will stick to the floor while your truck is still in gear and moving.talking from experience.some go bad as quick as you can replace them

if the new MC was a reman, it's possible the piston seal isn't quite the right size for the bore and occasionally doesn't flare out to seal in the bore.
with only 2000 miles on it, it should be covered for warranty

it was a new MC, fortunately it was free. bought the inventory of an out of business import parts store 3 years ago and luckily this is one of the parts that never sold on ebay. didn't have the 4Runner back then or the MC would never have been listed.

so i just ordered a new AISIN one from one of my parts suppliers and should have it monday. Man I do love running a parts store. parts is cheap and just about everything can be warrantied.

thanks for the help folks

mind if we take the scirocco discussion to PM so we don't disrupt the continuity of the thread?

well how often would the mounting bracket for the clutch pedal break, and if that's not an issue, my clutch catches very quick coming out, and now it seems that the pedal still travels just as far, but doesn't "engage" til 'bout half way down. Any ideas will help.
