i know they are 14 mm

but is it a m10 and what is t he pitch i think it is finer than the standard 1.25 ... i lost on nut when doing my new rear diff studs and need to get a new bolt tommorow.. searched but it didnt come up with much!

 

Check marlin crawler. Not sure the pitch myself but they sell them. Could give them a call in the morning I bet they could tell you quick if no one on here gets back to you

 

yeah since i only need one if there isnt a reply before i leave for work ill just get a 1.25 and a 1.50 most bolts on the truck i have ever seen are one of these 2..

1.25pitch if i recall correctly from when I bought mine from the fastener store. Same size as the exhaust manifold collector nuts too I believe...

Been driving me crazy replacing all those missing nuts, so I finally went with locknuts (NOT the nylon kind. They melt)... I'll be damned if I replace any more! Those and the red loctite should cure what ails me.

Though I probably shouldn't have loctited the oilpan bolts... Oh well, good thing it's a yoter!

You need to buy these from the dealer....

They are specially made just for this application (to fit properly in the flange) a regular hardware store bolt will not work correctly

 

ok ill take one from the fron drive shaftt of my daily driver!!.
JUST gotta remember to replace it by winter and DONT LOCK THE HUBS!

I don't recall if they are M8 or M10. Just take one to the hardware store and match it up. You want "flange head" bolts and nuts.

They are fine thread, probably 1.25 pitch, but it doesn't really matter. Just buy a nut that fits the bolt you buy.

I would get grade 8.8 (same as SAE Grade 5), no real need for 10.9 (same as grade 8).

 

I was just dealing with this. It's an M10x1.00 bolt. It's odd. It's super fine thread pitch. $10 from the dealer with the nut and the washer. I elected to get a tap/die from Ace Hardware and repair mine. Dealer prices are getting worse and worse on random hardware. Also, these bolts are common. You can find them in a junk yard on some other vehicles. Use the REVERSE SEARCH on the part number to fund them on toyodiy.com

 

These are special bolts off the shelf bolts will not work .

I found this out the hard way after taking bad advice .

About the only way to use off the shelf bolts is to drill the flanges with a 10mm drill

 

Yeah, I meant they are common in the sense they can be found on many other Toyota vehicles. Now that you say that though, makes me wonder if I have the correct bolts on the front output flange from my transfer case to my drive drive propeller. I'm pretty sure the yoke/flange itself is wrong, but it simply could be the bolts are incorrect. It's tough to tell, but I think the two flanges aren't lining up.
