rear springs

is there anything other than 63inch chevy springs that work for a toyota pickup? i mean i like the idea that they are cheap and all but i would rather not move my spring perches to accomidate those springs. is there anything that will bolt up to my stock perches and still give me 4 inches?

actually, they are 99.95, so 199.90 for a set.
oh, and you should replace the u-bolts. those are about 30.
and the 33311's come with urethane bushings...
...be pepared for some cursing.

hahaha i have an entire offroad shop at my finger tips so im not too worried about it. and i have piles and piles of u-bolts also.

IF you have all that at your disposal, why not do 63" chevys? They will be 100x better then any spring you can fit in the stock perches...

and i really dont want to bein welding perches and stuff on my dd and very rarely trail rig. i really dont need the flex

Doubtfull. You dont have a body lift so it wont show much at all. It will ride much better, and you get the load capacity of leafs off a half ton chevy...

My mistake, I could post a picture of a 3rd gen truck, 3" body lift and a SAS (around 4-5") with 63" chevys

I think it looks great!

the benefit of using chevy springs on the yota comes from the fact that the chev's are longer. that means that they can have a comparable initial spring rate and a slightly softer compression rate. so they hold the weight but absorb stress a bit easier than stockish springs.

OOOOOO very wisely spoken! well if i can find some 2wd 63inch chevys at the local pull a part then i will probably buy them depending on how costly they are

here are a few you can use 60inch dodge springs, a set of marlin or allpro or tg 57inch or ford f150 51inch springs
