Seatbelts

i changed the '80 toyota over to bucket seats a while back..and i finally found my seatbelts..(they were with the old bench seat in our garage) and i need to know how they mount..i got an idea on how they mount...but there is one bracket that has me stumbled...and i think it attatched to the bench..but im not sure..thanks for the help

You're talking about the half with the female latch, right? I'm not sure about any bracket; a picture would help. Some bolt to floor, some bolt to the tunnel.

Here in beautiful California, we ALL wear seatbelts ALL the time (or else get slammed!).

Toyota sedans, and trucks with bucket seats, have latches which are on stalks; a good replacement for those cracked limp sheaths that came with bench seats. (The male side, from the pillar, fits the latch, if you get Toyota parts.)
