Oil leak please help!!!

84 22r. The bushing has worn out in the distributor shaft. No one will just sell me the bushing so I guess I have to buy a new one. Before I do I was wondering if between the distributor o-ring seal and that bushing, could I be losing a quart of oil every 100 or so miles? I've cleaned up the engine but couldn't tell where the oil was coming from till I drove it a bit and then I couldn't pin point exactly the source. thanks in advance. Joe

Worn bushing will spit oil into the inside of the distributor. Bad o-ring will spit oil on the outside. And the fan will blow the oil everywhere.

1qt per 100 miles is excessive consumption/leakage.
