Radiator Recommendations

Did a search, was surprised to not find much on this topic (maybe I did something wrong?). Anyhow, thought I'd solicit advice on this, with a question: I've seen three row coppers, I've seen two row aluminums. Which is better for cooling? I'm not worried about the light weight of the aluminum, I want cooling. Running stock fan/clutch, no plans for e-fans. Have AC, probably adding a tranny cooler in front of it. Lots of start/stop traffic in CenCal with 110+ deg temps.

What to get and why? Where to get it?

I'm running a 3 core out of a 93 V6 4runner (i just picked a year for the guy at the parts counter) in my 1990 22re pickup. I'm using a ford taurus E-fan so I'm not sure if the 2 core fan shroud lines up.

Got it at a local parts place.

3-row 90-95 V6 radiator from Radiator.com in an 87 4Runner. Works great.
