ECU/ ECM or brain box as i call it in a Ford

I have tried some of everything in trying to figure out the hesitation in my truck.. Everything checks out.. I'm just wondering if it could be the brain box.. I have another one i took off a parts truck.. Its the exact same model.. 92.. They were even the same color, only difference is the one i have is off a 4WD and mine is 2WD.. Are there any issues with putting the one off the 4WD on my 2WD?.. I know its prolly a long shot, just wanna rule it out

i dont think so other then the one wire that goes to the 4wd ecm telling the computer to give it more fuel thats about it if you use it the computer will just think your in 2wd all the time no biggie

at lest i dont think theres a differnce cause in the book theres a lay out of the wire codes and some just say (4wd) on it saying there not there for a 2wd man
