lift kits, are they equal?

i couldn't find any real comparison between lift kits.

i'm looking for a 3" kit, and something that doesn't use a rear block because i have a nasty case of spring wrap. my first thought was to go with the skyjacker softride because in the world of full sized jeeps (my 79) the softride kit really has the best ride and flex of all the kits offered. but with the cost of the skyjacker i would be forced to only run an AAL out back instead of rear springs. i may purchase the rear springs seperately (if possible) at a later date, but for now i'm focusing on how it will be set up now. rough country, tuff country and a few other small companies have kits also available in the 3-4" veriety but i'm hesitant because i don't want it to ride much worse that it does. again with other rigs, the rough contry seems to be one of the roughest riding kits available.

in short.... does one brand ride/flex better than others, and will going with the AAL eliminate my axle wrap and not ride like complete poo?
