head gasket

i replaced the head gasket, today. new hoses, therm, so on. head was not worped. (checked it twice). and all air is out of the system. and ran it for a good 45mins. and then drove it for 10+miles and it seems to run alittle warmer than it did b-4.. anyone give me some hints??? please??

ive heard that the oem toyota one with a little hole drilled in it works best

ive herd that as well, on chevy small blocks. this just stumps me in a way. maybe im just making a mountain out of an ant mound...... i ve been a v8 SB ford guy, built them also, with troubles.. guess i will just try another T stat. and see.

Thats wierd... I just did something simular- Replaced the water pump + all the hoses and it seems to run just a tad hotter... I am assuming I really didn't get all the air out. But I would be curious if you find something else.

re& re'ing things .. loosens "things" / "scales" up .. clogging coolant lines in the rad .. you might try flushing the system ....
