I think its awesome. How much when all was said and done? Did you have it made or buy it from a supplier? How much weight did it save?

Looks great! If you want to be really slick you should put a bit of white pearl in clear and spray the hood. That way it will look like carbon but the reflections will be white to match your truck!

VIS now mass produces the hood...i picked it up for 550 plus shipping... i figured getting a stock hood with a scoop painted would have ran about the same so i went with the cf. as for the weight, it took two people to take off the stock hood and only one to put on the cf one. i'm thinking though i need to get some hood locks...the hood shakes mighty fierce going about 95 mph.

That's awesome! The scoop looks exactly like the stock one.

Love the truck man! I love carbon fiber!! just... are you gonna leave it bare? or are you gonna paint it? Also, have you seen zubaltec's 4Runner? He has a great onroad project going with some Volk wheels. He also has a history of drag racing... you might want to check out his truck. Have you dyno'd your truck yet? Those are crazy numbers! Congrats on the sub 13!

That is cool! Now all you need is the real carbon dash kit to match, hehe.

This one of the best looking hoods I've ever seen. You are right about the cost of a Toyota hood with paint, about $550.

I shouldn't be jealous but . . . .
