Yakima Racks

Hey guys,
i've got a pair of Yakima roof racks that i can get my hands on, that have the rain-gutter attachments on them. I was wondering if i could use these. i know one will fit on the front, but will the other work on the back window, or will i have to buy the attachment that mounts to your truck?

thanks for any help

You can put them over the back windows on the fiberglass gutters, just be careful of the weight. The gutters will break with too much loaded on the bars.

Just use the Yakima Side Loaders (otherwise known as artificial raingutters), and attach those to your top. They spread the load weight out properly, and you don't have to worry about breaking anything. They're about $25 for a pair.

Check here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f123...ap-mods-62861/.

There's another link where I go into more detail, but I didn't start it so I can't find it easily. Let me know if you have any ?'s.

Heres what I did. All Yakima and rails look factory. No problems with load weight either and towers detach in a snap.
