Att. all 22R (carbed) owners w/ SR5 gauges!

As much as I prefer a stock appearance, I really hate these gauges. Absolutely NO accuracy! Anyway, here are some pictures of the tuck's readouts in standard operation. Can anyone verify if these needles are located in satisfactory positions? Please ignore the fuel gauge, its the other 3 I'm worried about.

TEMPERATURE:

This is the lowest temperature I receive during operation (not counting first start of they day and warming up). Please refer to first picture at the bottom.

Oil Pressure:

This one is flighty. It will stand at the half-way line during the first 15 minutes of operation and then ride at the lower-quarter mark. At idle, after being driven for over 45 minutes, the needle rests just a hair above the bottom line. This extremely worries me. The needle does not react to throttle change unless the motor is revved severly high for a period of time.

Voltage:

The voltage gauge needle is always positioned in this manner and is only slightly affected by turn signals, heater, etc. Me eprsonally, I think its a little high. Basically I'm just asking for comparisons from other people on whether or not my gauges read safely.

Looks like mine

I'm glad that you posted this, because i was having the same worries about my oil pressure being low. especially because my valves are ticking slightly at start up. I even noticed that the gas gauge is off. The first half of tank gets like 115 miles and the second half gets around 75.

My gas gauge also does this. The first quarter tank of gas lasts 60-70 miles. My last quarte tank of gas lasts about 30.

This is exactly where the gauge should read with a proper functioning cooling system, with the engine at normal operating temp.

Oil pressure is extremely variable according to outside temperature, mileage on the engine itself, weight of oil used, and the age and mileage accrued on the oil pressure sending unit diaphragm. Usually the diaphragm gets weak overtime which sends a low reading to the gauge.

Voltage reading and behavior are perfectly normal.
