Of course I put the tank back on. I removed the tank and disconnected everything for welding purposes. Plugged everything up and put about 3.5g of gas in it.

The car starts but does not fire up or turn over. I am assuming the lines might have go switched, but after attempting to start the car a few times I unplugged the 2 smaller fuel lines and there was no gas coming out.

I assume there might be something wrong with the fuel delivery. Where should I start looking?

Dang, I was just gonna make a funny and say "try putting the tank back in", lol, but you ruined that with the first line.

Pull the plug for the pump and make sure you're getting power to it. Or rather, can you hear the pump running to prime the system?

 

I believe it might be a relay of some sort that is connected to the fuel pump. I do not get the "prime" sound. I had put in a bad battery that blew some fuses (80A) in engine bay and feel like it might have affected some other ones.

Where are all the fuel pump related fuses and relays located?

 

Just checked the electrical connections on the tank:

Round Connector: NO signal
Square Connector: Good signal

Where should I start tracing for faulty connection?

FIXED! Blown EFI fuse.

 

It's always the little things... hopefully anyway, lol. Good job; at least it was a cheap fix. I'm curious as to why it blew the fuse... well, maybe the welding; I've actually seen that blow a few fuses. Did you unhook the battery before welding?

 

Lets hope that is the only problem. It actually blew because I put in a battery that was sitting outside for a few months in rain and not just to start up the truck as this always has been a project truck. The think the current or charges got messed up and blew a few fuses with that faulty battery. Seems to run well right now.
