98 sr5 alarm
i plan on doing t.b. this weekend i have a key fob but no battery. the guy i bought the 4r from said i woulld have to have if battery was ever disconnected is this true??

If I understand your question correctly-No fob battery means alarm can't be activated. Makes no difference if main battery is disconnected or not, it has no effect on alarm system.
