Hey I have a 87 Suzuki samurai I'm lookin to trade
It has;
6.5 to 1 gears in the transfer case
mighty kong transfer case skid/bucket.
A new Bestop Sunport top.
The suspension is still stock, but i have the makings for a frame extension. My plans were to make a shackle reversal setup using Jeep YJ leaf springs (i have all the metal welded up, it just needs hangers, leaf springs and welded onto the frame),
It has one set of Toyota 8" axles and a spare front housing (i was in the process of rebuilding the axles so they are apart).
I have a high steer setup for the Toyota swap
Drive shaft adapters.
Power steering pump from a 83 Toyota
Front and rear drive shafts (also from a 83 Toyota).
I also have a pioneer premier deck
I can throw in a JL 10" sub and a pioneer amp.
I just replaced the starter on it and did the clicky starter fix.
Right now it has some generic all terrains on some black steel wheels (gives it a little wider stance).
I have some bald 34" LTB Swampers on steel wheels with a 6lug pattern for it
With the tires and gears its getting about 22mpg but i drive with a pretty heavy foot.
The bad;
The clutch is going out on it, but i have a new clutch for it that just needs to be installed.
I have a new timing cover and gasket for the engine that needs to be installed.
I just replaced the front main seal about 1000miles ago, but now the rear seal is leaking. I've priced the seal at $10. I planned on replacing it when i did the clutch.
I built a rear bumper for it made from 2x4 steel with 6" oval LED lights, I just need to install it.
It also has typical samurai rust in the rockers, rear wheel wells and bed. I was planning on comp cutting it so it didn't really bother me.
Its a good little 4x4 and has a lot of potential. I'm located just north of Fort collins Colorado. I have a couple thousand in parts for it. Let me know what you think. I can send pictures too if you want me to.
