Marlin rear bumper and bikini top

Put my my marlin crawler bumper on little while ago and got my bikini top yesterday from downey, also put new downey torsion bars on,I cranked them down less than the old position of the stockers and its about 2" higher looks pretty good, cant wait tell its 100 degrees out.

Anyone have downeys 3" rear springs?? I'd liek to see how much it lifts it..

Looks really good. Rear bumper with the D-rings looks great too. How much does the rear sag now that you cranked the front? I like the decals on your 4runner. Original? I live on the rust belt, any 4runners around here look like crap, including my 85. I have only seen about a dozen different first gens in the quad cities area in the past 4 years and I look constantly. Does the softop whip around alot on the highway or does it stay nice and tight?

Thanks for the comments, Ill get a picture of it level, i dont think i have them cranked to much theres alot less bolt length sticking through than before, yeah its all original, theres a few light surface rust spots, i should fix them before they become more than surface.. i havent gone over 40 mph yet with the bikini top..

3" downey springs, 1.5" lift shackles, zero front lift. They sag over time.

Thanks, I made the light bar a few years ago when I was learning to tig weld. I need to get a winch bumper and some sliders...

I want to do a can top on mine, but that is pricey.

If your ever in Spokane and want to go wheeling, let me know.

Marlin Bumpers are great, only thing I hate about mine is that Marlin has kind of skimpped lately on the clevis mount, only 1/4-3/8" thick where they used to be the full 3/4" for the clevis opening.

Also I would recommend not leaving your D-rings on there all the time, some lowlife #*@@#$ might decide they need them more than you....

I have seen countless Downey springs bend or sag....in fact every pair I have ever seen has bent....they do work good at first...just not for the long term. I would not recommend them. Check out OME instead
