G58trans. bolt to gear driven tcase?

That is all I need to know, will a gear driven 4cyl. transfer case bolt in behind a g58 that will be coming to me with a chain drive tcase behind it? This combo is coming out of a 91 pickup w/ADD

Noppers...it's an oddball tranny the G58...check out I believe 4crawler who has got some good info of what works with what...I'll try to find it for ya. The chain drive case VF1A is different in having 26 splines too. Search here as well because I've asked the question about a year ago.

Ooops the site is http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/faq/parts/ not 4crawler although it's a good site with good products. You'll need to get a whole other tranny for it to be compatible with any gear driven t-case. I'd be interested in buying the t-case off you though if you don't want it...let me know.

Thank you for confirming that. I thought back in my mind that no transmission that came with a chain drive case could have a gear drive case bolted to the back of it but I just wasn't sure.
