Just putting back together my 90 22re and thought some of you voyerists out there would like to see whats going on. Also should I do anything with the oil pump? Like replace it?

Thanks

I'd inspect it. They don't really fail ever. I mean, it happens, but not often.

aybe a lil amsoil power clean or similar product sprayed on those piston tops. Unless you want a carbon free head sitting on some carbon that you have the option to fix.

Looks like grease and oil. My alternator was the same color. I never did find out what the hell leaked all over it to make it so nasty. Fortunately mine still works.

hey, an engine bay dirtier than mine but on a serious note, if you haven't messed with that fuel filter in a while, I'd do that while it's easy to get to, lol. that's all I got...

haha, yeah howbout that alternator? Its nasty. The front seal has been leaking a while and just spraying the alt with oil and dirt from the road. I cleaned up the block a bit but Im not a picky guy when it comes to clean. As long as everything works and nothing is wearing quickly due to uncleanliness, it doesnt bother me.

Should have it running this week and I cant wait to see how the new valves and fuel injectors work!
