If it was at least a grand cheaper I'd go down and pick it up.......$3000 is a little much for a Toyota needing a total restoration.

Interesting side-notes:......the rear rollbar muffler clamped to the sidewalls.....hahaha!!!
.....the cool original sticker package with TREKKER on the back
....and appears to be pretty close to stock and not really that rusty

Hope she gets a good home.....if he'd take half it would be mine!

His asking price really isn't that bad for a Trekker that in that kind of shape, it is OBO too.
The roll bar is not muffler tubing, mine is the same way...though I am still planning a full cage...
His ad here: http://toyotatrekker.proboards107.co...play&thread=89 says that it is going on ebay on the 17th if nobody picks is up....

I didn't say that it was muffler tubing......it looks like muffler clamps holding it to the side walls of the interior.....I find it amusing but, I'd still buy it in a heartbeat if he'd take $1500.

It is up on EBay now... He's up to 2k.. (or down to 2k.. ) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29

I'd buy it too.. but I need something a little more economical.

Looking at the valve cover, it looks like he swapped a post 85 motor in it.
