In my zeal to spiff up my newly acquired '94 4runner, I foolishly removed some weathered duct tape that the previous owner had wrapped around the rear window deflector. I reckon it's aluminum, and the duct tape was old and baked on. I sanded the stuff off, and swirl marks resulted. Do I have any remedy here?

try rubbing compound made by turtle wax. i use it to get scratches out all the time! it really works...i got it for under $2 at the auto parts store. GL!
