door question vent glass or no vent glass

I know its kind of a dumb question but tuesday is a few hours away, I have my 87 4-runner with manual windows in the doors and with vent glass. I have my beater 84 4-runner that has power windows with no vent glass. I want to put the one piece windows and power regulators in the 87. The wiring doesnt scare me, will the regulator and glass bolt up into the other door? Does toyota use the same door shell for both style windows? Toyota is pretty good about stuff like that, I just dont want to gut my doors to find out they wont work.

They are slightly different along the sill. You may have trouble installing the weather stripping and door panels. Also, the vented doors have a brace welded across the gap between the inner and outer shells which will need to be cut to clear the glass.

well if the doors are similar to the 89 to 95 doors i mean as in build above the vent window there is a tab you will need to remove so you can use the solid glass but the regulators should bolt in fine btw i have a 90 toy p/u with vents
