Question Few Questions about my 1988 4Runner

Before you read this remember I've had a toyota before( for about 6 weeks then totaled it...) But I've had two jeeps and modding a yota is a lil new to me... so thanks for any help you can give me
First I'll start off with my Rigg
1988 4Runner AKA "The_HoRunner"
SR5
Stock everything!
And WHat would 40 series Flows sound like on my engine?

(I know this is a newbie Question... but is mine a 1st gen runner?)

Ok... Im wondering about what size Tires i will be able to clear with a two inch lift, Im thinking of getting some BFG Mud-Terrain(Cause they stopped making Dayton Timberline M/T )... i've read the thing about what to do and it says suspension last... but im really in need of some suspension cause im dragging @$$... and I use it for Mudding and trail driving... no crawlng... and it is my daily driver, but It's on the road as much as it is off the road...

It is a first gen, everything from 84-89 with removable top and 2 doors is considered 1st gen. With a 2 inch lift you should be able to comfortably fit 33's. If I were you I would do like 2 inch shackles and a torsion bar crank and maybe a 2 inch body, i'm sure your rear leafs are shot as most 1st gens are.

welcome to the world of toyotas but these questions have been covered hundreds of times.

I see you where able to find the right area to post in I would just browse through the 86-95 trucks and 4runners section it is all there.

or this link may work.
