96 4runner alternator

My alternator is from a 1996 4Runner limited and is only 60 amps. It's at Boyle Future Technology getting a rebuild and upgrade to 115 - 120 amps. Jeff said most of the alternators they see from Tacomas are 80 amps and was suprised that mine was the smaller 60 amp.
