Tacoma mudflaps on 4runner w/ fender flares
Can anyone confirm that Tacoma mudflaps will work on 3rd gen 4runners with fender flares and factory running boards? I've heard they can attach to the existing screws. Pictures would be great.
The posts I have came across have usually been either owners with removed running boards or non-fender flared 4runners.
I've been to Autozone and the generic $8 flaps just aren't long enough when all 3 existing screws are used. I could always use the lower 2 screws, but I'm afraid the flaps won't be stable.

Here are Tacoma flaps on mine. I have the limited style flares.

There is a hole at the inner most point where you can you a install a simple nut and bolt to secure the flap. The hole is there from the factory.
My question is why do you need mudflaps if you are keep the running boards on?
I took mine off therefore the need for the flaps.
