General Spring brand rear leafs???

First post on this forum. A lot of good info here.

Just found a 1986 4Runner DLX 22re locally, which I purchased for $1500. Of course it needs some work, but it's relatively rust free with only a small amount on the rear of the passenger rear wheel well. 225,000 miles and the 22re is still running great!

My 4runner is a member of the ever popular sagging rear end club, and I'm currently exploring options. Did a search and read alot of good info on OME, JCWhitney, etc, but never found any reference to General Springs out of Kansas City http://www.generalspringkc.com/index...arent=154&pg=1

My rig will be used as a second driver, to haul my boxer around, and to reach mountain biking trailheads or remote trails. No big rock crawling are in the plans. Probably going to run 31x10.5x15's to replace the stock 235/75/15's.

Anyone with experience using General Springs. They very well might be the same ones you can get from JCWhitney, but wanted to make sure they weren't junk.

Thanks and I hope to participate alot more on the forum!

Welcome! I've not heard of them, but if that price is each, you might as well just buy OMEs. You can get them w/new rear bushings for about $195 plus shipping for the pair.
