93 with bad motor for 2000? I dont know why it would have a rebuilt trans or transfer case. I have seen many 93-95s with bad motors going for 1000 or less. Pics would help also location.

price is his perrogitive...the only time a sale is a "good deal" is when both the seller and buyer are happy with the price...in his location this may be a good price....good luck to you on your sale!!

copied from a TTORA post. different situation, same idea.
Real world pricing should be around $500 through $750 for a blown engine 4runner. Over a thousand dollars should be a perfect vehicle with less then 150k with only a blow engine, no other defects. The reason pricing is like this is because of the cost for a rebuild is usally around 2k if you do it right and lots of work yourself. He does get some brownie points because his still runs and that means you get to feel the rest of the truck, but should take a big hit because of the flaking clearcoat making the truck a less then desierable builder. Also a quarter million miles is a hard sale to most people. My 90 chassi has that many miles and was close to perfect when I purchased it for 500. My wifes 93 is clean with 130k and I gave $750 for that one. The last 95 had 220k on it and was a $500 truck But i was able to sell it for 6K with a 3.4l swap. Don't buy it and plan on making more then 500 from parts, there are too many wrecked out there, a dime a dozen. Your best bet as a owner is to fix it cheap and try to sell it as a runner to make money for your new car. Though I'm sure somone will give you $1k for it eventually.

man, what size wheels are those 25's? lol.
im telling you, just put a couple grand into the newer 3.4L 4runner engine with some bigger wheels and you got yourself a good truck...
