i remember with my old 22re if the check engine light came on, i could run under the hood and connect the two prongs in the diagnostic thing with a little jumper wire, and the engine light would flash a bunch of times giving me code.

does this work with the 3.0s, and will it work if the check engine light isn't on?

and if so, does anyone have a link to all the codes?
