Question lifting 97 tacoma for 33's

I have about a 1.5 inch to 2 inch rancho suspension lift kit installed front and rear and i want to run 33x12.5 or 11.5 on black steel wheels and i am wondering if they will fit or not

Actually they will fit, but you will have problems with flex. On my bosses stock 95.5 taco he put 32x11.5x15 on his stock rims and they run just fine. My 97 4runner has 3" revtek in front and I had to trim the pinch weld with the 15X8 procomp rims I have. I think alot will depend on what backspacing your rims have

with the bushwaker cutouts and 4" lift on my 99taco the 33x12.5s on 4" backspacing 10" wide rims, barely fit. minor rub when flexing/turned wheels.

you could probably fit them with the right backspacing. and maybe the 11.5s

I put 33x13.50-16 tsl ltbs on a 2000 with a three inch fabtech coilover. No scrubbing at all. There is nothing cut either.

Would it make that much of a difference to run a 1 inch or possible a 2 inch body lift i also though about adding maybe 2 inch spacer on the front coil over strut assembly or is that just asking for problems
