First 3rd Gen 4Runner. My new DD!

Well I decided to purchase a 3rd Gen for a DD. I like 2nd Gens and own a few of those but decided to venture into 3rd Gens.

It's a 1996 4WD. She's got the 3.4 w/ an automatic, PW, DL, rear heat. Nothing fancy.

She's been used that's for sure. She's got 202,000 + miles on her but runs like a top.

Sense this is my DD for now then it'll be my womans truck down the road it's not getting any crazy mods but will get some.

List of service crap to do.
- Replace Oil Seals (cam, crank, valve cover)
- Replace Belts (timing, A/C, etc.)
- Clean everything (MAF Sensor, Throttle Body, etc.)

List of mods planned (in order of importance to me).
- Rear Cargo Box
- Install 91 4Runner SR5 seats (these have adjusting side bolsters and lumbar support)
- Tacoma whip antenna
- Paint ugly a$$ gold emblems.
- Satoshi Emblem Mod
- Cup holder mod
- Manual Hub Swap (I'll be keeping ABS so I'll replace front bearings at that time)
- E-Locker retrofit.
- Do some suspension work (She rides like a tank right now so I need to fix that later down the road.)

I'll have pictures and stuff.

So do you still have all of your other rigs? Nice fleet of yota's!

Yeah they're all still here. The Tacoma is still under construction. The 95 beater is under a rebuild using Land Cruiser axles. My woman drives the 3.4 95 everyday to work and loves it.

I figured I'd try out a 3rd gen. 2nd Gens feel more like home to me but I'm going to give the 3rd Gen time to grow on me.

You should replace your stock muffler with a 24" Magnaflow for a very small growl.
